Some people collect coins, others autographs of famous people and still others trinkets that sit on shelves and provide a special reminder of this or that. Still others --- those who play the game of golf --- have a way of collecting club championships.
In Bucks County golf circles, numerous players have captured multiple championships, but there are some that simply stand out as being amazing feats.
Lower Bucks County's Bob Kotz traveled over the Delaware River to the Trenton Country Club where he compiled the awesome record of 14 men's club championships. Keith Wilson went one better, scoring 15 titles between stints at Hi-Point (now Spring Mill) and Bensalem Township. Glenn Smeraglio claimed 12 from time at Yardley and Mercer Oaks while Dennis Konczyk claimed 11 at Torresdale-Frankford and Don Everett secured 10 at Northampton Valley.
