September 2010: Delcher
There have been scores of great local players, but Delcher heads the class.

Names make news, and despite the cooler weather there is plenty of golf being played in Bucks County as reports are coming in from Makefield Highlands, the Golf Association of Philadelphia and the Nomads Golf Association.
Makefield Highlands was the site of a pair of perfect shots in the last week, as Bob Liberatore and Chris Walsh scored aces at the Lower Makefield club.
Both scored hole-in-one shots on the par-3, 179-yard 14th hole. Liberatore used a 4-hybrid for his perfect shot, while Walsh used a 4 iron. Their ace moved the area needle of perfect shots to more than 40 in 2010 (see The Ace Report in the "local golfers" section of this site).
\But that isn't his biggest scholastic claim to fame.
Elkan captured a trophy than only three other Bucks County golfers have managed to secure: a PIAA State Championship.
Names and news in Bucks County Golf: Two aces in a single round highlight the day, with additional information from the Levittown Golf Club, other hole-in-one scorers, and junior golf. Enjoy!
Okay, pop question. When you run into Brandon Walker, don't ask him about his hole-in-one at The Bucks Club.
He's just answer: "Which one?"
There are golf stories and there are golf stories. At http://www.golfbuckscounty.com/ we like to write about each and every golf story that affects Bucks County, the Delaware Valley and beyond.
Over the year we wrote a lot of commentary on issues facing the world of golf, rated and featured golf courses such as Bensalem in the area and Blue Heron Pines down the shore.
If it's about local golf and you have an interest, we write about it.
