Commentary: Thoughts of an idle mind
Did ya see where "hot lanes" are popping up all over the place? These so called "Lexus Lanes" apparently reduce congestion on the roads but can become quite costly for drivers.

(Editor's Note: A re-posting of a story from earlier this fall on a Player of the Month for those who missed it.)
The summer of 2009 was kind to New Hope's Zachary Herr, both on and off the golf course.
Herr, 14, was awarded the United States Golf Association & American Junior Golf Association's Prestigious President's Award for contributions to the game both on and off the course.
He held his second annual Zach Attacks Cancer Tournament at Jericho National for the benefit of several charities, including the Fox Chase Cancer Center. In the two years the event has generated more than $85,000 for the charitable causes.
Thomas Bartolacci, Jr. compiled an outstanding year on area courses.
The Saucon Valley Country Club member most recently qualified for the United States Senior Amateur Championship for the second time. He advanced to the match play portion of the event in Texas.
The good news is that I don't have Cabin Fever yet.
The bad news it's on its way.
Zach Herr has started a new school year, celebrated his 14th birthday, and has fond memories of the last year.
Herr won his first Golf Association of Philadelphia championship, the 60th annual Junior-Junior Championship, posted top-10 finishes in national fields in the American Junior Golf Association events and won several International Junior Golf Tour championships.
