Smeraglio nips Arnold at Yardley Invitational

The new guard fell to the old guard at Yardley Country Club's Men's Invitational.

 

Glenn Smeraglio, all of 48-years-young, played stellar golf in winning the championship on the 2nd hole of a playoff with Villanova University senior Steve Arnold. The twosome completed regulation at 4-under-par 68, a single shot ahead of Mark Miller and 2 in front of defending champion Ed Erickson and 2004 champion Paul Rogowicz.
